Draft – pending legal review
Terms of Use
Version: October 2026 (draft)
This English version is provided for convenience. The German version (Nutzungsbedingungen) is legally binding.
1. Scope and provider
(1) These terms of use apply to the use of the plugins for ChatGPT described on https://plugins.ki-katapult.de (the "Plugins").
(2) The Plugins are provided by Tim Eiko Neunzig, KI Katapult, Alpenstrasse 13, 14542 Werder (Havel), Germany, email: tim@ki-katapult.de (the "Provider" or "we").
(3) The Plugins are offered to consumers and businesses. Users' own terms and conditions do not apply.
2. Services
(1) The Plugins provide functions that are called through ChatGPT, for example creating, checking or converting documents and applying calculation rules. The scope of each Plugin is set out in its description on this website.
(2) You need access to ChatGPT to use the Plugins. Your relationship with OpenAI is governed solely by OpenAI's terms. We are not responsible for ChatGPT itself.
(3) There are no user accounts. Inputs are processed only to perform the requested function and are not stored. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
3. Free of charge, availability
(1) Use of the Plugins is free of charge.
(2) There is no entitlement to availability, to any particular function or to any particular response time. We may change, restrict, temporarily disable or permanently discontinue Plugins at any time, in particular for maintenance, security or further development.
(3) We may impose technical limits (for example on file sizes or the number of calls) to keep the service stable for all users.
4. Acceptable use
(1) You may use the Plugins only in compliance with applicable law. In particular, you must not
- submit content whose processing infringes third-party rights, for example copyright, trade mark or personality rights,
- submit personal data of third parties without being entitled to do so,
- submit content that is unlawful or contains malware,
- use the Plugins to create forged or misleading documents, such as false invoices,
- overload or attack the technical infrastructure or circumvent usage limits,
- query the Plugins automatically and at scale outside ChatGPT.
(2) Please do not submit card data, identity document numbers, personal tax identification numbers or credentials. Only submit documents containing particularly sensitive data (for example health data) where necessary for your purpose.
(3) In case of violations we may refuse individual calls or block use technically, to the extent possible without user accounts.
(4) You can report illegal content related to the Plugins to tim@ki-katapult.de. This address is also our single point of contact for authorities and users under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act). We communicate in German and English.
5. Your content
(1) Rights in your inputs and in the results remain with you or the respective rights holders.
(2) You grant us only the rights required to process your inputs technically in order to perform the requested function. No further use takes place, for example for training AI models.
(3) You confirm that you are entitled to submit your inputs and have them processed.
6. Results, no legal or tax advice
(1) The Plugins generate results automatically. Results may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, for example if inputs are unclear, ChatGPT passes them on incorrectly or the law changes.
(2) Some Plugins apply rules based on statutes or administrative requirements, for example tax rates, labour law deadlines or public procurement requirements. The Plugins do not legally assess an individual case; they apply generally defined rules to your inputs automatically. These results are not legal advice and not tax advice. They do not replace review by a lawyer or tax adviser.
(3) You must check every result for accuracy and suitability for your purpose before using it. This applies in particular to documents you pass on to third parties, authorities or courts.
7. Output files
(1) We provide output files through a download link valid for 60 minutes. The file is then deleted and cannot be restored.
(2) Please save any results you wish to keep within this period. We keep no copies. Deletion is intentional and protects your data.
8. Liability
(1) We are liable without limitation
- for intent and gross negligence,
- for injury to life, body or health,
- under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz),
- for fraudulently concealed defects and to the extent of an expressly assumed guarantee.
(2) In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment is a prerequisite for proper use and on whose observance you may regularly rely. In that case liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for this type of contract when the contract was concluded.
(3) Otherwise liability is excluded.
(4) The above provisions also apply in favour of persons we use to perform our obligations.
9. Data protection
Information on the processing of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy. Businesses that process personal data of third parties with the Plugins may conclude a data processing agreement with us under Art. 28 GDPR; a template is available at /en/avv.
10. Changes to these terms
(1) We may amend these terms with effect for the future, for example for new functions or changes in the law.
(2) As there are no user accounts, each use is governed by the version published on this page at the time of use. The date of the current version is shown above.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they are habitually resident.
(2) If you are a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this relationship is the Provider's place of business in Werder (Havel). We may also bring proceedings at your general place of jurisdiction.
12. Final provisions
If individual provisions of these terms are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected. The invalid provision is replaced by the statutory provisions (§ 306(2) BGB).
